Aluminium Alloy Division

SSMI – Aluminium division, the flagship division of the SSMI group was incorporated in the year 2009. This division, has within a short span of time emerged as a front runner in the Indian Aluminium alloy industry, manufacturing various grades of Aluminium alloys including master alloys & deoxidants. The manufacturing unit is located in Gummidipoondi, Tamilnadu, India. and has an installed capacity to produce 1200MT of aluminium alloys per month. Some of the facilities are listed below

SSMI – aluminium alloys are produced as per British LM, Japanese JIS, American AA, European, BIS, DIN standards and also as per the customer’s specific requirement. Customer specifications are maintained in a comprehensive data base for easy retrival and production with minimum lead times

Consistency of product quality & meeting the customer order specifications ensure the continuous demand for Sumangala’s Aluminium alloy ingots which make up to 50% of the SSMI group’s total sales.

The Aluminium alloy grades produced by SSMI are currently used in leading Sand, Gravity & Pressure die casting units for high integrity castings in a wide range of industrial , Engineering & Commercial applications.
